School-Based Support

Extra Lesson Screening Packages

Waldorf schools consistently hold the utmost regard for their students, offering a beautiful education rooted in developmental integrity. Our schools also often confront challenges like faculty bandwidth, financial constraints, and siloed support. My intention is to bring Waldorf Extra Lesson insights paired with my knowledge of primitive reflex inhibition through Craniosacral Therapy into Waldorf schools seeking more conversation, depth of knowledge, targeted student support, and faculty training.

In addition to the packages, schools receive:

  • Ongoing communication throughout the year with me

  • Access to videos of Extra Lesson exercises for reminders

Primitive Reflex Package

Primitive reflexes are frequently linked to learning and behavioral challenges in classrooms from reading challenges to attention. This package targets the reflexes, providing both insight into individual students as well as training for faculty to learn how to spot them, understand them, and support their inhibition in the classroom.

  • 1 Full Day on campus

  • Check 8 common primitive reflexes for up to 40 children

  • Checklist and resource folder for each child given immediately

  • 2-hour teacher training on primitive reflexes, their anthroposophic connection, supportive Extra Lesson exercises, and more.

  • $600 for the day

Parent - Tot Teacher Evaluations

Parent-Child classes provide an important platform for Waldorf schools to bring awareness to this beautiful childhood practice as well as invite families into our schools.

This unique program requires a unique teacher: someone who can hold both an adult body and the young child; someone who can straddle ego presence with steady etheric and physical body development. It can be a lonely job in a Waldorf school - one with tangent faculty but rarely fully understood guidance.

Evaluations include:

  • class observation

  • teacher discussion of strengths and areas of growth

  • suggestions for teachers in line with their unique approach and local culture

  • a report written in integrity and warmth

We’ve loved working with Mrs. Emily in the past
— previous family
We and our kids have absolutely have loved our time learning from Emily!
— current family
as a parent of young children, I often longed for grounding and connection. Emily’s classes offered exactly that. Her spaces brought steadiness and warmth, helping me feel supported in my parenting journey. Emily is an exceptionally gifted educator with a deep understanding of Waldorf pedagogy and early childhood development. Her intention and genuine care for families shine through in every class she leads.
— previous family
Emily has a heart of gold and truly cares about children and their parents. I had the lovely opportunity to be in many of her classes with my son, I learned so much and really felt welcomed and listened to. She meets you wherever you are in your journey with compassion and zero judgment. She has a comprehensive understanding of how children develop and I always appreciated her wisdom.
— previous family

Along with my Master’s in Family Education, I have led hundreds of families in various settings - public education, Waldorf, and forest programs, and in various conditions: tents, fully outdoors, classrooms, borrowed classrooms, nights and weekends. I have created highly successful programs with waitlists and prominent matriculation rates into schools while maintaining a majority retention rate session to session.

I welcome the opportunity to meet parent-child teachers for reflective dialogue, new ideas, trouble shooting, and pedagogical insight. I bring empathy, curiosity, respect, and lived experience of highly successful programs into conversation and evaluations that help the teacher feel empowered in their role and help schools retain and matriculate more students.
